I’m Shannon Mathis Meyer, LCSW, CACII, a licensed Clinical Social Worker based in NW Georgia with over a decade of experience. I firmly believe in the value of good supervision and strive to provide the best possible to fit you and your clients' needs.
I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 2010 and have since provided individual and family therapy with both children and adults. I utilize CBT, EMDR, ERP, and Motivational Interviewing in my sessions, and am DBT and trauma informed. I have provided supervision since 2016 and have experience supervising pre-licensed therapists within private practice, community mental health, hospice, medical social work, municipal social work, and inpatient settings.
